This has among other things resulted in that the previous Head of Accounting, who has held the position for five years, has chosen to seek new challenges. Therefore, GN is now looking for a new Director with international Finance experience to fill the position as Head of Accounting.

In this position you will be responsible for the Group Accounting department consisting of 23 employees whereof three Managers are in direct report. As Head of Accounting you will report directly to the VP for Group Reporting, Controlling, Tax & Accounting and be a part of the VPs management team.

You will be overall responsible for managing work across multiple areas of finance hereunder all activities of the accounting and is involved in the supervision and management of general accounting activities, analyses, business partnership, and the maintenance of effective internal controls while ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives.  The department also includes GN’s payroll department and is highly linked to GN’s treasury department located in Singapore. You are also overall responsible for timely and compliant monthly financial reporting and annual audit process.

Besides the daily management and operational task in the department, you will also play an important role in development of the Financial structures and processes in GN Group and you will be a key player in the implementation of the new ERP system in GN Hearing, Microsoft365. Among other things this will include the possible establishment of a shared service centre as well as the continued increase in the use of robotics in the processes.

Experienced people manager bringing value to the numbers
GN are looking for a candidate who has a strong financial background with preferably 5-10 years of experience within finance/financial analysis/controlling from an international environment. It is also expected that you have solid management experience and are driven by managing other managers.

This is done by setting an overall automated test framework solution that aims to connect different automated test solutions used in verification in 4 software areas: Device Software, Application Software, Internet Software and Fitting Software.

Function as software test automation framework architect
Your responsibilities will be to establish, develop, roll out and maintain this new framework solution, based upon utilising existing automated solutions of the software platforms. This will happen in close collaboration and with contribution from your colleagues in the Systems Verification team and across software verification teams.

You will support and coach developers in the use of the automated framework test solution as well as help and train colleagues in the systems verification team.

By being part of the Systems Verification Team in the R&D department, you can unfold your skills and your talent for automated test while joining an agile/SAFe work environment where you will play a vital part in strengthening automated testing activities.
