Regional Sales responsibility

Flexicon is part of a large Group – Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group – and they have sales companies all over the world and furthermore expanding their global reach. Flexicon has been in the business for decades and as part of Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group they now have an excellent opportunity to accelerate sales of their products through the group’s sales companies.
With direct report to the Head of Sales, your task will be to increase sales in your region. Since Flexicon is part of a large group, you drive sales through the salespersons in the respective country. You are therefore the sales sparring partner when it comes to sales meetings, tenders, training of local sales teams in your region etc. and generally ensuring each country gets the attention required for them to reach the budgeted sales of Flexicon’s solutions.
This position offers many exciting and challenging tasks such as:
- Create action plans within your region in collaboration with the local sales managers
- Supporting the sales teams in all matters to ensure they reach the budget for Flexicon’s solutions
- Consultative selling of customer specific solutions where you advise the customers regarding the specification of their system
- Project management for new sales projects, handling communication between both internal and external stakeholders
- Meetings and product presentations with end-customers in your region
- Participate in local events and exhibitions
Drive sales through partners with long sales cycles
We expect you to have excellent experience in how to drive sales through partners and/or company owned sales companies. Furthermore, it is a must that you thrive with the long sales cycles you typically find within the project sales business. It is therefore important that you have the stamina to continuously push forward even though the processes can be extensive. As a person you should have a technical foundation which enables you to learn about the products quite fast, which will enable you to be a solid sparring partner for the sales companies.
