Motivating sales driver with focus on BTB sales
The focus of Watson-Marlow Flexicon is development, production and sales of advanced peristaltic filling and capping machines for the pharmaceutical, biotechnical and diagnostic industry. Watson-Marlow Flexicon is part of Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) and sells their advanced and technical solutions through WMFTG sales offices and distributors in markets across the world. To fulfil the ambitious growth plan of the Group the Flexicon sales organisation is now hiring a Regional Sales Manager.

It will be your task to strengthen the sale on strategically important markets. You must increase the sales of Watson-Marlow Flexicon’s technical solutions through close collaboration with the WMFTG sales companies and the distributor network. This will be done by supporting the sales process with the local sales engineers by training them in product knowhow, giving advice regarding customer specific configuration of the Flexicon system machines and by providing support in the negotiation of contracts. Alongside these activities, you will also join the local sales engineers in their visits to customers. WMFTG is continuously opening new sales offices and therefore you will also be involved in onboarding of new sales engineers to ensure a fast take-off of the sales of the Flexcion product portfolio.

You will be reporting to the Factory Sales Manager and will be given responsibility for the budget in your own geographical area. At the same time, you will have the responsibility of planning and participating in selected shows and exhibitions while performing other sales promoting activities. The overarching focus of the activities will always be to bring Watson-Marlow Flexicon closer to the end customers.

Experience with technical solution- and project sales processes
We expect that you have an educational background as Export Engineer or similar. You have several years of experience with technical solution sales either through indirect distribution sales or direct BTB sales. It is preferred that you have experience with sales to the pharmaceutical industry or from a similar industry with strong regulatory demands. You are proficient in the English and Danish language and is able to manage business negotiations in both languages. The international character of the position results in approximately 60 travel days each year.
