About P27 Nordic Payments
P27 Nordic Payments is a collaboration between the central banks of Denmark, Sweden, and Lithuania to create a common platform for domestic and cross-border payments in the Nordic region. The goal of P27 is to increase efficiency and lower customer costs by using a single platform for payments rather than multiple systems. The platform is based on real-time gross settlement and will be fully integrated with the existing payment infrastructure. P27 is expected to launch in 2023 and aims to create a more efficient, secure, and cost-effective payments ecosystem for the Nordic countries.
