The LEO Foundation is one of Denmark’s largest commercial foundations. Established in 1984, their main objective is to ensure the long-term continuation and success of the global, research-based pharmaceutical company LEO Pharma. Further, the Foundation supports independent skin research through philanthropic grants and awards, which in 2018 amounted to DKK 300 million.

Overall responsibilities
You are motivated by structure and follow-up and you enjoy being part of a small dedicated and busy team of specialists. As Management Assistant in the LEO Foundation, you will report to the Foundation’s CEO and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, including supplier management and payment of invoices. You will handle different administrative tasks in the Foundation, including preparation and coordination for the Board of Trustees. You will support the team in drafting and refining documents, preparing presentations and proof-reading English communication, and you will contribute in various cross-functional assignments.

Your qualifications
First and foremost, you are fully skilled in Danish and English correspondence and capable of handling proof-reading of the Foundation’s materials and reporting.

Furthermore, the following competencies are required

  • High-level IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint and Word)
  • Knowledge of and ability to use SoMe (LinkedIn, Twitter etc.)

Global experience is desired, not required. We expect that you have at least five years of experience in a similar role and documented English skills. You have an independent work style, are a skilled communicator and ready to engage in new tasks with a can-do and professional attitude. You have a high level of integrity, communicate respectfully and are open and trustworthy.
