Central role in realizing PLM ambitions
Designing new shoes is a creative and demanding process that needs to be performed and overseen in a structured way to control the process and ensure that the collections for a new season progresses as planned. ECCO works continuously on improving the processes and systems supporting the product lifecycle management (PLM), from a sketch in Design to a prototype in R&D ending up with a BOM in Production.
As a PLM Consultant in the Products & Supply Chain Team, you will interact with relevant stakeholders to understand and translate the requirements into IT solutions. The main stakeholders are R&D, Design and Production. You will be responsible for specifying, designing, building, deploying and supporting the PLM solutions, and you will act as project manager and manage deliveries from internal and external IT partners.
Consultant with business know-how and flair for IT – maybe newly graduated
As a person you are an excellent communicator and enjoy establishing relations with your internal and external stakeholders. You thrive in the role as facilitator between the organizational units. You possess a high personal drive and are able to manage several on-going projects simultaneously. You approach tasks and processes with a holistic view when analyzing, executing and safely implementing complex changes.
There are several paths to this position. Ideally, you have previous experience translating business requirements within design and/or R&D and/or supply chain into IT solutions. However, you might also come with the technical capabilities within development or project management. ECCO acknowledge that there will be some learning and internal training to do, but most importantly, your personality enables you to talk and understand business processes. You master English written and verbally. You are able to travel approximately 30 days per year.
