For the Scandinavian markets we are searching for a dynamic and inspiring Regional Sales Manager to work with some of the most exiting Fishing Tackle brands in the World.
As Regional Sales Manager for Scandinavia you will lead and manage the Scandinavian sales team in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. You will be responsible for setting the overall sales strategy for the Scandinavian markets, in close collaboration with the Director of Sales and your team. Your goal will be to grow market shares using sales data and market intelligence combined with driving sales excellence in your team.
To succeed you need a strong toolbox in regard to analyzing sales data, plan and execute the sales and develop go to market strategy. This combined with a focus on product development in order to target the different markets with the right products. You will also need good interpersonal and leadership skills to create a winning spirit in your sales team and an ability to drive change and implement new processes.
- Responsible for Sales and Head of the Sales Force in DK, SE and NO
- Build strong relationships to Key Customers in Scandinavia
- Acquire new distribution channels
- Provide support to customers; managers; and teams
- Determine long- and short-term sales goals
- Regional product forecasting
- Mentor Sales Managers
- Oversee sales and special campaigns/promotions
Proactive and ambitious Sales Manager
We expect you to have 5+ years of sales experience, and we expect you to have had leadership experience from a previous role. You might come from a role as Sales Manager, Regional Manager, Head of KAM or similar. It is not a requirement that you have experience within the Fishing Tackle, Hunting or Outdoor Industry, but it will be an advantage.
We are looking for a candidate that can grow the market share and that can establish new clients within big retail chains. Therefore, we expect you to have solid experience negotiating with purchasers from some of the big retail stores (DIY) within Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
You should be motivated by a challenge that will be both operational and strategic, and where your ability to be proactive, ambitious, and hard-working are key elements for success.
