Operational and hands-on Team leader
As Team Leader you will manage a team of two skilled payroll assistants, to whom you will be a training coach and provide guidance, set the direction and motivate to develop and use their knowledge and skills to achieve the shared goals and take them even further. With approximately 1000 employees throughout the organisation, the payroll team has a lot on their plate, and they receive a lot of inquiries from the employees and you must therefore have an outgoing and service minded attitude. Requests from Headquarters as e.g. statistics also come frequently.
With a lot of manual processes and administrative tasks, Gate Gourmet needs you to develop systems and structures and generally optimise the payroll procedures. From day one, you will be the expert and go-to person within this area.
Go-do and energetic attitude
Your way into this position can be multiple. You can come from an HR department or from finance – most importantly is it that you have several years of payroll experience from and an extensive knowledge in payroll systems. Furthermore, it as a prerequisite that you have experience working in a production company with collective labour law agreements, unions and hourly workers. You may have had your first management position and seek to develop that even further, but it is not a prerequisite. We furthermore expect you to have excellent Excel skills as well as English competencies on a high level, oral as well as written. With your go-do attitude you will make things happen and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are able to prioritize in a structured way as well as creating results in a highly complex matrix organisation.
