Tender Manager to Mediplast

As a Tender Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire tendering process within the organization. This involves managing the bid lifecycle, ensuring compliance with tender specifications, and collaborating with various departments to prepare comprehensive bid proposals. You will analyze tender specifications and customer requirements to develop compliant and competitive bids, coordinating technical, commercial, and administrative inputs from cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate tender responses.

Other tasks & responsibilities:

  • Oversee the tender process from review to submission, ensuring compliance with all requirements and standards.
  • Develop and implement tender strategies, conduct market analysis, and collaborate with management to refine bid strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procurement regulations and conduct quality checks on tender documents.
  • Act as a central contact for stakeholders, represent the organization in negotiations, and collaborate with finance on pricing strategies.
  • Analyze tender outcomes, provide recommendations for improvement, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on tender performance and market insights to management.

Other qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in tender management within the life sciences or healthcare sector
  • Knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory frameworks in the life sciences industry
  • Experience in client negotiations and contract management
  • Familiarity with digital tools for tender tracking, analysis, and submission
  • Fluent in Finnish and English
