Hvad adskiller det fra almindelig rekruttering? Hvorn\u00e5r giver det mening? Og er det kun for de st\u00f8rste virksomheder?<\/p>\n<p>I denne artikel gennemg\u00e5r vi hvad executive search egentlig er, hvem der bruger det, og hvorn\u00e5r det er den rigtige l\u00f8sning til din n\u00e6ste ans\u00e6ttelse.<\/p>\n<h2>Hvad er executive search?<\/h2>\n<p>Executive search \u2013 ogs\u00e5 kaldet headhunting \u2013 er en metode til at rekruttere ledere og specialister der typisk ikke s\u00f8ger aktivt efter nyt job. I stedet for at sl\u00e5 en stilling op og afvente ans\u00f8gninger kortl\u00e6gger et executive search-bureau markedet systematisk og kontakter de st\u00e6rkeste kandidater direkte.<\/p>\n<p>Det adskiller sig fundamentalt fra traditionel rekruttering p\u00e5 to punkter:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kandidatfeltet er anderledes.<\/strong> Et jobopslag fanger dem der s\u00f8ger aktivt. Executive search fanger dem der ikke g\u00f8r \u2013 men som ville tage det rigtige opkald. Det er typisk en meget st\u00e6rkere gruppe kandidater, fordi de bedste ledere sj\u00e6ldent befinder sig p\u00e5 jobmarkedet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Processen er anderledes.<\/strong> Executive search er ikke en passiv proces hvor man afventer og screener. Det er en aktiv, struktureret s\u00f8gning der typisk inkluderer markedskortl\u00e6gning, direkte kontakt, kompetencevurdering og ofte personlighedstest \u2013 alt tilpasset den specifikke stilling og virksomhed.<\/p>\n<h2>Hvem bruger executive search?<\/h2>\n<p>Den korte version: alle typer virksomheder der skal rekruttere p\u00e5 lederniveau.<\/p>\n<p>Der er en udbredt misforst\u00e5else om at executive search kun er for store internationale koncerner. Det passer ikke. Vi arbejder med alt fra b\u00f8rsnoterede selskaber til mellemstore familieejede virksomheder og offentlige organisationer \u2013 og behovet er det samme: at finde den bedst mulige leder til en kritisk stilling, uanset om vedkommende s\u00f8ger aktivt eller ej.<\/p>\n<p>De virksomheder der oftest v\u00e6lger executive search er dem der:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Skal bes\u00e6tte en kritisk stilling p\u00e5 C-suite-niveau (CEO, CFO, COO, CMO, CTO eller VP)<br \/>\n\u2013 Har brug for diskret rekruttering uden at g\u00f8re opm\u00e6rksom p\u00e5 at stillingen er ledig<br \/>\n\u2013 S\u00f8ger kandidater med en meget specifik kombination af brancheerfaring og personprofil<br \/>\n\u2013 Opererer i et marked med f\u00e5 relevante kandidater der s\u00f8ger aktivt<br \/>\n\u2013 Har haft en d\u00e5rlig oplevelse med annoncering og ikke fundet de rette profiler<\/p>\n<h2>Hvad er forskellen p\u00e5 executive search og headhunting?<\/h2>\n<p>I praksis bruges begreberne ofte i fl\u00e6ng, og de d\u00e6kker det samme: en proaktiv s\u00f8gning efter kandidater der ikke s\u00f8ger aktivt. Headhunting er den mere dagligdags betegnelse, mens executive search typisk signalerer en mere struktureret og formel proces \u2013 ofte brugt om rekruttering p\u00e5 \u00f8verste lederniveau.<\/p>\n<p>Hos Compass bruger vi executive search om den samlede proces: fra kravprofil og markedskortl\u00e6gning til kandidatpr\u00e6sentation, kompetencevurdering og onboarding-st\u00f8tte.<\/p>\n<h2>Hvorn\u00e5r skal man v\u00e6lge executive search frem for annoncering?<\/h2>\n<p>Det afh\u00e6nger af stillingen, branchen og kandidatmarkedet. Som tommelfingerregel giver executive search mest mening n\u00e5r:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stillingen er kritisk.<\/strong> Jo mere en forkert ans\u00e6ttelse koster \u2013 i tid, penge og organisatorisk momentum \u2013 jo mere giver det mening at investere i en grundig s\u00f8gning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kandidaten sandsynligvis ikke s\u00f8ger aktivt.<\/strong> P\u00e5 C-suite-niveau er de fleste st\u00e6rke kandidater allerede i et job de trives i. De er ikke p\u00e5 jobportaler. Et jobopslag rammer dem ikke.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diskretionshensyn taler imod et offentligt opslag.<\/strong> Hvis det ikke skal v\u00e6re offentligt kendt at en stilling er ledig \u2013 f.eks. fordi nuv\u00e6rende leder ikke har sagt op endnu, eller fordi det kan p\u00e5virke markedet \u2013 er executive search den eneste reelle mulighed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Markedet er smalt.<\/strong> Inden for nogle industrier og funktioner er der ganske enkelt ikke mange relevante kandidater.
