Bio-Rad Life Science Group is hiring a highly motivated Account Manager. The right candidate has a positive attitude, collaborating skills and has a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales results. You will work as part of a high-functioning team including Field Application Specialist based in Finland and Sweden and Bio-Rad’s global Product Manager team.

This role is field based and includes travel with overnight stay, therefore a location close to an international airport within the territory is key.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Main responsibility is to ensure short term as well as long term successful sales result within your territory (Stockholm) by identifying and creating new business opportunities as well as building business relationships with existing customer base.
  • High level of customer interactions in the field through meetings, demonstrations, trainings etc. Interactions will be on your own as well as in collaboration with Field Applications Specialists and Regional Sales specialists for certain products and applications areas.
  • Plan, perform and follow up on sales activities in line with Bio-Rad marketing plan to ensure customers and market segments are targeted and engaged.
  • Document activities and other information as well as regular reporting in CRM system and other report formats requested by manager in a timely manner and follow Bio-Rad quality policies.
  • Actively seek and maintain good understanding of the products, applications and other sales related skills through regular trainings and learning opportunities to be able to identify business opportunities in discussions with the customer.

What You Bring: 

  • Academic degree (e.g. MSc or PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline and Sales experience and/or laboratory experience is required
  • Highly motivated and scientific knowledge within molecular biology field. Preferrable with experience in western blot and/or qPCR. Other technology areas where Bio-Rad have product solutions is an advantage
  • High driving force to acheive sales result within challenging and/or competitive situations
  • Positive and professional attitude and high degree of collaborating skills to contribute to the team environment and work well both in the team as well as independent
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to deliver results while working with several projects under tight deadline
  • Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Driver’s license is required
