Do you want to develop the commercial success of the Transfer Belt solution across markets in Europe and Asia for a world leader in airport baggage and cargo handling solutions?

As Area Sales Manager, you will develop long-term relationships with key client stakeholders in airport baggage handling and successfully navigate technical tender-based sales projects with your target airport clients.

Based on a hands-on, authentic, resilient approach, and an in-depth understanding of your target clients’ business and challenges, you develop and present tailor-made value propositions, and successfully manage protracted sales projects, both in existing airports, where the Transfer Belt is a key tool to improve work conditions and expand capacity of an existing baggage handling system, as well as in new airports or terminals, where Transfer Belt is only a small part of a new, large tender for a new build solution.

You adapt your approach towards a variety of client stakeholders and bring Power Stow’s solutions to life by running trials, allowing your target clients to experience the Transfer Belt’s benefits first-hand. As you start converting pipeline targets into key account clients, you nurture and strengthen your personal and commercial relationship with your clients, which allows you to identify and close repeat sales opportunities, which is a crucial aspect of your long-term success.

Technically minded business developer with strong project management skills

We expect you to have a strong track record within technical B2B project sales and project management and are motivated by working with long, complex sales cycles with many stakeholders involved. Ideally, you have experience with airport automated baggage handling systems, the industrial automation industry or technical installations within the construction industry or similar and are familiar with tender-based project sales.

To succeed in the role, it is vital that you enjoy working on strategic, tactical, and operational levels, in a customer-focused, hands-on environment. As a person you are technically astute and have excellent commercial, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a structured mindset and approach. You are fluent in English, written as well as verbally. Danish language skills are a great advantage, with further languages a plus.
