ALK is looking for a Local Category Manager to handle the procurement for CapEx and Facility Management of the production site in Hørsholm. You will be part of a global allergy solutions company with a wide range of allergy treatments, products, and services and be key in ensuring that the site at all times runs efficiently.
Sourcing, procurement and negotiation
As the Local Category Manager, you will be managing tactical and strategic procurement for two large and important categories respectively CapEx; machines, process equipment, instruments and Facility Management; cleaning, machinery maintenance, canteen and more. You will report directly to the Manager for Direct Material & Local Procurement and join the Global Procurement department.
Your tasks will among others include:
- Source new and manage existing Capex supplies and contracts
- Source new and manage existing Facility Management supplies and contracts
- Conduct supplier evaluations
- Preventive risk management in relation to external supply disruptions
- Plan and execute optimization of supply/suppliers according to Global Procurement’s value drivers, i.e., quality, sustainability, ebit, time and innovation
- Supplier management and key contact to suppliers
- Be Procurement’s point of contact for CapEx and Facility Management at the Danish production site and point of escalation for local Purchasers
- Communication and stakeholder management
Experience with negotiation and procurement on tactical level
To succeed in this position, you are able to demonstrate previous experience within tactical and strategic procurement or from a role where you have been involved in procurement and handling suppliers within the field of machines, engineering or similar technical CapEx area.
We expect you to have the ability to interact and stay close to relevant stakeholders and communicate with these in Danish and English as both language skills are pre-requisite. Furthermore, you hold a relevant educational degree.
On a personal level, you are proactive, curious and self-driven. You possess a structured mind-set and are able to prioritize your work.
