About this opportunity
As the COO, you will oversee operations and business management, ensuring compliance with all applicable law, regulations, industry standards, best in class reporting, financial analysis, and M&A activities. You will work closely with the CEO and management team to develop and execute strategic plans that drive and establish a strong compliance across the company. You will have a unique chance of becoming an industry expert in ESG and taxonomy reporting.
Responsibilities
With a goal to increase production and turnover within the next three years, Tier1 Asset seeks a COO who can effectively manage all aspects of the business while maintaining a high quality and creating value by combining excellent regulatory competences and business acumen across all business lines.
In addition to managing the operational aspects of the business, you will be responsible for developing best in class reporting and M&A activities. You will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, including conducting due diligence, assessing risks and opportunities, and developing business cases.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will comprise:
- Employees, in direct reports, and develop the team.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with various regulatory requirements and ensure continued high quality. and compliance throughout the organization.
- Overall responsible for developing and maintaining all ISO certifications and audits.
- Financial analyses and best in class reporting (including to the Board of directors).
- M&A activities, including due diligence and Data Room.
- Digitalizing and optimizing processes.
- ESG, CSR, CO2, and taxonomy reporting.

As an individual, you possess strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and compliance. Your analytical abilities enable you to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. You are ambitious and lead the charge in terms of quality and development. You are adept at making thoughtful decisions and can navigate seamlessly at all organizational levels. As a leader, you know how to motivate, develop, and retain your team members. You are a strong communicator and master both Danish and English in speech and writing.
