For our client located in Southern Denmark, we are looking for a Demand Planner for a newly established position. Our client is a global industrial company that contributes to the green transition and has a keen focus on securing a sustainable footprint. The company is on a journey where processes are optimised to match future demands.
As Demand Planner, you will become part of a highly competent and well-run team. Your responsibility will be to gather and analyse customer demands and present key findings to the Master Planner. In addition, you will propose and guide the sales organisation on how to improve demand forecast and secure implementation. You will be working with demand planning software, databases and modelling forecasts and plans.
As Demand Planner, you will work closely together with the Sales department as well as the Master Planner. You will take on a key role, where your work and input will be highly needed and appreciated.
Number crunching and making data understandable and relevant is your thing!
For this position, we are looking for an analytical person who enjoys working with large amounts of data and is able to translate these into understandable and reliable insights. You possess good communication skills and know how to make your message relevant and interesting for your audience. You are curious by nature and dare to challenge the data you receive to make sure you have the right foundation for making your analysis.
You have a relevant educational background and possess minimum two years of relevant experience, either from a full-time position or as a student worker. Previous experience with demand planning will be an advantage, however not a requirement. What is most important is that you hold strong mathematical and statistical knowledge combined with practical experience in working with large amounts of data. You have excellent Excel skills and speak English fluently.
