To accommodate Orifarm’s rapid growth resulting from their ambitious growth strategy and latest the acquisition of Takeda’s portfolio of OTC and prescription drugs, Orifarm’s regulatory organisation has recently undergone a restructuring. Therefore, Orifarm is now looking for an experienced people manager to take on the position as RA Director, Product Development. You will have direct report to VP of RA Healthcare, and you will lead the Product Development organisation consisting of currently 18 employees in total including Managers.

The purpose of the Product Development organisation is to execute pre-pipeline and ensure new MAs at a sufficient level of compliance and quality, perform due diligence for new M&As and to review and update the acquired MAs from Takeda.


  • Daily management of Department/Team Managers/Specialists/Associates in Product Development, including employee development, interviews, plan for courses/training, staff requirements and resource planning, hiring and dismissals.
  • Secure continuous development of the Product Development Management team.
  • Secure daily management of the employees in the Submission and IT team acting as Team Managers for those.
  • Coordination and prioritization of task in Product Development management team and across RA Healthcare.
  • Secure well-being, development, results and efficiency (KPI’s) in Product Development and RA Healthcare in general.
  • Support to rolling forecast for RA Healthcare- department.
  • Secure resources on an overall level within Product Development.


  • Responsible for compliance with regulatory legislation and guidelines in Product Development.
  • Secure resources for new initiatives and changes in legislation.
  • Responsible for SOPs within Product Development in close collaboration with RA Healthcare Management team.
  • Secure development of clear processes within Product Development and towards internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic development of Product Development according to RA Healthcare overall strategy with focus on new Mas.
  • Resource optimisation: Coordination of tasks, secure resources for new initiatives, advise, projects and superuser roles.
  • Secure training and knowledge maintenance of Product Development employees.
  • Secure cross functional collaboration to stakeholders.
  • Secure agile workflow and targets are reached across RA.

 Experience and qualifications

  • Solid experience within RA of pharmaceuticals. Experience with generic is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the global regulatory framework
  • People management experience
  • Excellent strategic thinking
