Scientific communication and patient engagement
The focus in this role is non-promotional activities and projects in the Nordic countries. Your primary task will be to drive and implement medical communication projects, local study-activities and patient engagement activities. Further to this, you will deliver tactical support to Sales and Market Access. The role is field based and you will report to the Nordic Medical Director.
The key to success in this role is to develop and maintain scientific relationships with key stakeholders e.g., Nordic KOLs, Nordic Key Account Managers, Nordic Market Access Manager and Global Medical Advisors.
Field based work during and after COVID
The COVID pandemic has led to significant changes in the way Norgine and their external stakeholders work, and this has led to a fast adoption of digital solutions in the business and both communications and interactions with healthcare. Many of these changes are expected to be permanent and to further change the way to work. It is critical that you can embrace and further develop these digital changes.
Effective cross functional teamwork is crucial to Norgine’ s success, and you will work in both formal and informal team structures with colleagues in the Nordic medical and commercial organisation. Depending on the project you will have the role as a team leader or as team member.

It is important in this role to understand the needs of your key stakeholders, engage with decision makers and influencers, seek the most relevant solutions and make decisions based on insights.
Patients inspire Norgine in their work and Norgine has a strong focus on bringing the voice of the patient into the organisation to bring knowledge and understanding of the patient situation to all employees. You are expected to lead the planning and implementation of Norgine’ s voice of the patient activities and projects.
Extrovert personality with a strong scientific background
We expect you to have a scientific master’s degree combined with experience from pharmaceutical clinical research and/or medical affairs tasks. Preferably you come with experience from either gastroenterology, hepatology, obstetrics, or nephrology. In addition you have a very good understanding of the Nordic healthcare systems. You are used to acquire a strong product and disease knowledge, in order to have a strong impact and obtain trust from internal and external stakeholders.
Personally, you are an extrovert individual and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, you have great project management skills with the ability to plan and be accurate in the execution of these. You also have a genuine interest in the use of digital technologies for communication and interaction. The role can be filled by candidates living in Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland and it is expected that you able to travel within the region when needed. It is a requirement that you have a high level of written and oral English and in one of the Scandinavian languages.
