In this business-oriented position your overall responsibility is to ensure a professional financial management that can support the future business decisions. Hence, ensuring a correct picture of the business activities of GEODIS Denmark A/S in the financial reporting.
As Finance Manager you will report to the company´s CFO and you will be involved in both tactical and operational tasks, and through your visible leadership approach, you ensure that the accounting organization consisting of 11 employees operates efficiently and professionally.
You have min. 5 years of experience from a finance department – preferably from a Nordic/international company – where you have obtained an in-depth/hands-on experience with month-end/year-end closing, accounting / internal controls / efficient processes and reporting.
You know your “debit & credit” and do probably bring an education like M.Sc. in Auditing, HD (R) or similar into the job. Furthermore, we would like you to have gained extensive people management experience – could be from a minor team.
From an IT perspective you are an Excel superuser, have good understanding for ERP-systems, have preferably AXAPTA and SAP experience and are curious with regards to BI (Business Intelligence).
