To the Nordic head office in central Stockholm we are looking for a Finance Manager


The role

The role is broad with reporting and communication required at all levels from Country Manager right up to the Executive Committee. This role has a lead role for providing Nordics financial information to the Nordic Team, Northwest Region and to HQ following guidelines. The financial tasks needed are broad, requiring some basic generation of financial data (journals & reconciliations) through to reporting and business analysis as well as normal financial transaction processing and reporting. This role requires influencing and interpersonal skills and developed leadership to secure commitment and support from Country Teams, Regional Teams and central finance support functions. In addition to month end responsibilities, Quarterly Forecasts and the annual Plan, there will be ad hoc requests from Senior Management for strategic analysis and reporting. This role will also be responsible for managing the relationship with local pre-wholesalers. Helping to ensure that rolling forecasts are in place in timely manner and inventories are managed efficiently in addition to the smooth day to day operation of the pre-wholesaler.


Your Profile

Due to the nature of the organisation, the role involves both significant autonomous working and strong collaboration with the Regional Finance team. The Nordic team is small, therefore good communication skills at all levels are essential, as the role requires information and co-operation from many sources, such as manufacturing, Marketing, R&D, Senior Management as well as external partners and suppliers. You will also need to be persuasive and a self-starter, as the company operates within a lean organizational structure. Most of the key business partners will be external or in other parts of the organisation and not under the direct control of the Finance Manager, so influencing without authority becomes a key challenge.

You have recognized Finance qualification or equivalent e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA, CFA with minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Finance Business Partner role.

Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
