GLOBAL MANUFACTURING DIRECTOR
Located in Sweden, Stockholm / Mälardalen
Systemair’s global supply chain currently contains 29 producing units in 20 countries. One of the company’s strategic priorities is to increase efficiency, flexibility, and synergy effects within the Group’s total supply chain. As part of the Group’s management team Systemair has externally recruited a Vice President Global Supply Chain who now is recruiting and now building a Group organization to be able to deliver the desired development.
You lead the Group’s Production Board, in which internal key people in the area participate and whose task is to ensure collaboration and exchange within the Supply Chain network in order to further develop and streamline the Group’s production facilities. You report to VP Global Supply Chain, who is part of Systemair’s Group Management. Your role is at a high strategic level with the expectation that you, together with others, will lead the work of analyzing, planning, developing, streamlining, and coordinate production that takes place in several countries and facilities. You will work with global projects to ensure desired progress. The projects can span over several areas such as consolidation with desirable synergy effects, lean implementation, digitization, productivity increase, flexibility, and lead times. In addition to strategic work, your task is to anchor out in the organization and lead processes that leads to concrete and desirable effects. Together with others, you identify goals and key figures that are communicated to the organization, which create clarity regarding expectations and are followed up in a structured manner.
You are part of the management team for the Global Supply Chain together with responsible directors for purchasing, logistics, and R&D. You lead a qualified team located in Sweden and Spain.
Your location is in Sweden and Mälardalen / Stockholm. The position involves frequent travel, especially in Europe, but also in other parts of the world.
This is a very attractive position for you who have exactly the experience described above and who have been successful in your roles, something that other can verify. You are used to lead and develop manufacturing that is carried out through different facilities located in several countries. You are familiar with different cultures and are used to and comfortable with the English language.
