This is a great opportunity to take on a challenging position in a global organization. You will be working closely with colleagues in subsidiaries all around the world. For our client, ECCO, we are looking for two ambitious Group Financial Controllers with different levels of experience: one recently graduated and one experienced candidate.

Challenging role in Group Accounting

As Group Financial Controller you will join the Group Accounting team where all aspects of group consolidation, financial controlling and financial compliance audits is handled, and you will refer to the Head of Group Accounting.

In cooperation with the Group Accounting team, your overall responsibility will be to:

  • Perform financial controlling for month-end, annual report, budget, and forecast.
  • Participate in internal financial audits in the subsidiaries.
  • Provide deep dive audits/controlling via digital solutions across and on selected focus areas.
  • Monitor compliance.

The position as Group Financial Controller is expected to have primary tasks focusing on financial compliance audit, controlling/review of financial reports from group companies, compliance tracking/follow-up on periodic reporting/forecasting, analysis, and ad hoc reviews/investigations on financial elements.

A significant amount of the tasks is performed in the Group HQ, but audit and in some cases ad hoc reviews are performed on local locations for which reason travelling to subsidiaries is a normal part of the position (around 25-30 days of travel yearly). Generally, the work will be flexible, with a good possibility of working from home.

Recently graduated or experienced candidate

We are currently seeking two talented individuals to join the Group Accounting team. The positions are open to either recently graduated candidates (Master in Accounting, Higher diploma (HD-R) etc.), or more experienced candidates from a similar position or as an auditor. Either way, you are fluent in English, as you will be working with external and internal stakeholders. You are expected to have a strong interest in and experience with IT tools.
