HR Legal Counsel based in Copenhagen to support the global HR activities

As HR Legal Counsel, you will give employment law and legal counselling to the CISC organization globally. You will be responsible for the preparation of employment agreements, secondment agreements, addenda, and consulting contracts, while guiding the hiring managers in relation to terms, compensation, and benefits. You will have a variety of cross-functional and cross-hierarchy internal stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be involved in ad hoc assignments across the organisation, i.e. with Legal and HR, setting high demands for your great project management and people skills.

Your further responsibilities consist of:

  • Becoming a trusted go-to person in relation to legal HR matters.
  • General counselling regarding Danish and international employment and labour law.
  • Prepare and manage employment-related agreements.
  • Manage and become the point of contact in relation to external lawyers.
  • Prepare remuneration letters following the annual employees’ performance and development reviews.
  • Maintain employee master data in cooperation with the Payroll Manager.
  • Make sure that templates are maintained and updated.

The successful candidate

The ideal candidate brings to the table a Master of Laws combined with minimum 4-5 years of work experience from a large international company or a law firm having gained experience with Danish (and preferably international) employment, holiday, and labour law, preparation of employment contracts and secondment agreements in English as well as remuneration letters based on the employees’ annual performance and development reviews, and have become a trusted go-to person within the organisation in the above matters.

You are a determined and structured individual with a positive can-do attitude and s comfortable working in a fast-paced and international environment.
