They are now looking for an experienced and driven HR Manager to take full responsibility for SATS Denmark and help build a strong HR foundation that will support their growth and operational success.

Lead the HR Function in Denmark

As HR Manager, you will oversee all HR functions for SATS Denmark, managing 900 employees (approximately 200 full-time equivalents). In this role, you will ensure consistency across key areas such as brand, products, operations, training, HR, HSE, and pricing, while working closely with group functions and the Nordic People & Operations team. Your contribution will be essential to the development and implementation of HR programs that align with SATS’s strategic goals at a Nordic level.

While SATS Denmark has many established processes, there are still areas that need development to optimize performance, such as formal leadership programs. Despite these gaps, SATS’s success has been driven by a strong people culture and robust operational management. Your mission will be to address these gaps by developing foundational HR processes, executing them effectively, and training employees to ensure long-term success.

SATS are seeking someone with a pragmatic mindset and a curiosity to continuously improve. You will take a thoughtful, step-by-step approach to build and enhance systems while remaining calm under the pressures that often come with HR. Experience in a well-functioning HR department, strong legal competencies, and an ability to engage with operational leaders will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full HR responsibility for SATS Denmark, managing around 900 employees.
  • Ensure consistency in key operational areas and collaborate with group functions on HR initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR programs that support strategic goals at the Nordic level.
  • Build and refine foundational HR processes and lead staff training to maintain those processes.
  • Ensure legal compliance and handle critical processes with strong legal competencies.
  • Engage directly with Club Managers to create value for teams and Regional Managers across the organization.
