Informatics Technical Specialist
Do you want to help the hospitals, laboratories, and clinics in Denmark? And do you have experience with configuration of laboratory information systems?
Abbott Core Diagnostics is looking for an Informatics Technical Specialist to further strengthen the team in Denmark working with the AlinIQ products and solutions used in diagnostics laboratories. You will report directly to the Informatics Technical Lead and join the Customer Service organisation in Northern Europe.
Installation, configuration of middleware and integration of systems
As Informatics Technical Specialist, you will install and configure the systems and products enabling the interfaces to the hospitals systems onsite, as well as provide training and support to the customers when the projects have gone live. You will execute the projects and assigned tasks while focusing on timelines and quality.
As the role is field based, you will have close interaction and communication with customers. Therefore, it is of great importance that you become a trusted advisor to the customers by identifying the customer’s needs, propose solutions and resolve issues that might occur and ensure a high service at all times.
Experience with laboratory information systems and IT skills
To succeed in this position, you hold a relevant educational degree a in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines and you have some years of experience from a similar role installing, configuring and/or maintaining diagnostics laboratory informatics applications. This has given you a sound understanding of diagnostics laboratory workflows and related technologies.
We expect you to have the ability to interact and collaborate across stakeholders internally and externally and communicate with these in both Danish and English. On a personal level, you are proactive, service-minded, solution oriented, and self-motivated. You have an eye for details, a concern for quality, and the ability to prioritise your work and execute according to plans and timelines.
