Watson Marlow Fluid Technology Group offers an opportunity to join its growing internal sales support department in Norway. This role will involve partnering with customers, providing an array of technical and commercial product and applications expertise.
With a passion for supporting sales, you will manage the progression of projects through quotation, preparation, purchasing and commissioning, whilst providing 1st line technical support to customers, engineers, and service. Watson Marlow works with a range of customers in both Norway and Denmark so fluency in both languages is preferred.
This position offers several exciting and challenging tasks, including:
- Liaise with customers and Sales Engineers to produce a specification; interpret specifications and generate accurate costing for all products.
- Provide detailed quotations both verbal and written for standard and engineered products in-line with KPI’s.
- Take a project lead for assigned quotes ensuring that all information is completed and returned to the customer in a professional manner within the designated KPI.
- Take a lead on Return Goods Authorization’s (RGA)
- Create relevant and considered training plans to maintain product knowledge.
- Process customer orders as per departmental procedures.
- Create customer specific trade agreements in AX to ensure correct pricing.
Commercial focus with a broad range of responsibilities
Ideally you have a technical degree or experience in a similar segment to Watson Marlow. Most important is the experience and knowledge about internal sales support and preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX knowledge. With a close partnership to the customers and Sales Engineers you know how to provide excellent service and keeping a firm eye on ongoing projects. You will be in close dialogue with the Danish equivalent and will be expected to cover the Danish position in case of illness and vacations.
