IT Category Manager for Global Indirect Procurement

GN Hearing

Can you drive IT procurement in a dynamic, global organisation and take the lead in large-scale IT development and implementation projects?

Join us at the heart of procurement and shape the next steps in our exciting journey
At GN, we provide the world with intelligent audio solutions that let you hear more, do more and be more than you ever thought possible. As part of building solid IT procurement strategies, you will have the responsibility to engage and support our global IT organisation in defining and executing fit for purpose procurement category plans. You will manage sourcing activities, ensuring best achievable commercial terms and supplier agreements as well as lead negotiations and support supplier management efforts within IT.

Take charge of your category and impact the future of global IT procurement
As part of a transformational journey, where we strive to improve the maturity and proactiveness of our Global Indirect Procurement organisation, we are looking for a new colleague to join our team of highly passionate and skilled procurement professionals. We are a new team of 4 category managers with responsibility for our own indirect categories, and on a daily basis, there is ample opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our own procurement tools, processes and supporting systems.
As IT Category Manager, your well-assorted, IT procurement toolbox enables you to support our global IT organisation and deliver excellent procurement services, on both strategic and operational levels. In this way, you are equally comfortable acting as sparring partner on Global IT Management meetings, driving highly complex projects and negotiations, as well as rolling up your sleeves to perform more hands-on operational tasks. In other words, you will have the end-to-end responsibility to manage and develop your category.

We have many exciting, ongoing projects and as IT Category Manager, you will be instrumental in realising these, as well as scoping future projects towards the global organisation. In this way, you will have a broad, independent role, with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Experienced IT procurement professional, with an ability to excite and engage a global organisation
Aside from your solid experience with global procurement, IT sourcing and project management, we are looking for a colleague whose proactive, solution-oriented and service-minded approach towards IT procurement, will make you a valued partner for both internal and external stakeholders in an international context. Your distinct analytical mindset and attention to detail makes you a persuasive negotiator, who is able to manage supplier and contract management processes with outspoken diplomacy.

Would you like to shape the future of indirect IT procurement in a global, growing organisation?
If you share our passion and believe that developing an effective and proactive Indirect Procurement Organisation is the most exciting job in the world, then we look forward to receiving your application. We hope you will join us on our journey to transform lives across the globe.
