We are looking for a
IT SOLUTIONS MANAGER
to support the Eurofins business operations with functional IT organization and lead the Finnish IT team, consisting of developers, business analysts, application support and application administrators.
Eurofins has in a few years acquired some laboratory organizations in Finland, all having their own independent IT- systems and processes. You will operate as a project manager to different IT projects and prioritize and implement projects in a fast developing organization and help creating “one Eurofins” and promoting good company culture.
The essential tasks are implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures according to the business needs. The position holds a strong business orientation and the IT Solutions manager will have an important role in acting as a trusted advisor for the Managing Director regarding IT matters. He / she will also cooperate actively with the Nordic IT Director and other internal & external IT actors. The role is very independent, while networking with business sites in Finland is essential.
The ideal candidate has experience in leading software implementation projects across multiple business lines. Experience in large-scale IT-projects in an international environment are considered as advantages. We are looking for an energetic, hands-on IT Solutions Manager who is willing to take on a very independent and proactive role. To possess a strong business acumen and to deeply understand the interlinkage between business and IT is crucial. The person should have excellent communication skills and good tolerance for stress and change. Previous team leader experience is an advantage.
Preferably you have also Information Management Systems experience (especially laboratory related). Experience in relational databases design and applications (MS SQL and/or Oracle) is also an advantage. SCRUM methodology and BI tools experience is appreciated as well as past experience in handling .NET projects.
You will be located in Oulu, but Lahti and Jyväskylä are also possible locations. Travelling will occur on a regular basis within Finland and occasionally within Europe. Excellent communication and presentation skills are important, and you are fluent in spoken and written Finnish and English.
