Bisca Key Account Manager, Northern Europe: Bring Danish cookies out into the world

For 125 years, we have baked cookies and cakes for the whole world at Bisca. Today, we are a natural part of the Danish cultural food legacy and the market leader in Denmark, with strong brands such as Karen Volf, Snøfler®, Møn and All in one. Currently the whole organisation is working on rejuvenating and transforming the business, and we need a new colleague who can take responsibility for our sales in Northern Europe outside of Denmark.

When not travelling your main location will be at our commercial office in Albertslund the Greater Copenhagen area.

At Bisca, we are ambitious, and we are not afraid to say it out loud. We have high expectations of you, and there are many exciting opportunities that we want you to work with when taking responsibility for sales in the Northern region. Your focus will be on Sweden and Germany, while also facilitating growth in markets such as Finland and Iceland – and you will work with both our own brands and private label. We emphasise that you can further develop the business with existing customers and at the same time open up new markets and customers.
You will report directly to our Export Sales Director.

As Key Account Manager, Northern Europe your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to

  • Implementing and optimising the sales strategy in focus markets
  • Further developing business growth in the company with retailers and the external field sales team
  • Driving new business and distribution across product categories to different markets
  • Managing and developing excellent customer relationships
  • Being responsible for a healthy pricing strategy and contract negotiations
  • Planning and booking campaigns, including planning and executing annual negotiations with customers
  • Responsibility for customer P&L
  • Serving as the communication link between key customers and internal teams including Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Ad hoc market analysis
  • Monthly market updates and sales forecasting

How we envision your profile

Your background is less important to us, but we expect that you have previous experience in international sales within FMCG, have relevant training and education and are used to working internationally.

It is important to us that you have

  • At least five years of experience in international sales within FMCG
  • Fluency in Danish and English, ideally also proficiency in Swedish and/or German
  • A relevant educational background at minimum Bachelor level
  • IT fluency as required to fulfil your tasks

The practical side of things

  • Our bakery is in Stege, Møn and we have our commercial office in Albertslund in the Greater Copenhagen area, which will be your main location when not travelling. Occasionally you will also spend time at the bakery to get close to our products, our supply chain and the people working there
  • Remuneration commensurate with qualifications
  • Start date: as soon as possible
