Medical Sales Representative

The Biocodex Nordics Phame team provides a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical and medical services to more than 120 companies in the Nordics. Biocodex global turnover is over EUR 400 million.

Biocodex Nordics group operates in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Since the 1960s, the company has a strong track record in Hospital, Primary care and Consumer products. There are about 80 people in our team working in Biocodex Nordics, and 50 of them in Finland.


We are looking for a Medical Sales Representative to drive and manage our sales operations in Pirkanmaa and other regions, e.g. Päijät-Häme and Kymenlaakso in Finland.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for selling and promoting Biocodex OTC products mainly to pharmacies but also to doctors, and other healthcare professionals. You will be the person in charge of your geographical region, with strong support from Biocodex Espoo office regarding e.g. materials and travel planning.

You will work and further develop our existing account plans with our current products, and you will play a part as we are launching new products to the market. Commercial negotiations and optimizing the availability, visibility, and recommendation of the products in your region is at the core of your role.

  • Building and maintaining customer relationships in your sales area
  • Analyzing and developing sales in own area
  • Planning sales visits according to set targets
  • Arranging trainings to relevant target groups
  • In collaboration with our Sales Management, Brand Managers and other Medical Sales Representatives, drive and manage the sales to achieve and outperform targets and meet deadlines
  • Follow-up on market information and competitors
  • Reporting into CRM
  • Creating and supporting a positive company image
  • Continuous professional development

This position is field based and requires traveling. However, there won’t be too many overnight stays if you’re located in Tampere where you have most of your clients. You will report to our Sales Director in Espoo.

About you

You have been working in sales with healthcare products for at least some years, preferably with products which are sold in pharmacies or prescribed by healthcare professionals.

To be successful in this position you need a high drive for success and an entrepreneurial mindset. You are customer-oriented, goal-driven, and your approach is proactive. You are an outgoing team player and also feel comfortable working independently. This position requires fluent Finnish and good English language skills.
