For our client we are looking for a strong HR Business Partner with retail experience. Our client has a strong brand and employs more than 400 people throughout the Nordic region.

Challenging HR role in an international environment

In this independent HR role, you are the primary contact for the management of the Nordic region. You will be functioning as a sparring partner as well as point of contact for HR questions from management. This includes the wide range of all HR aspects: from recruitment to Performance & Talent Management and from succession planning to Absence Management. The region has both support staff (finance, customer services etc.), account management staff as well as retail staff. You know how to divide your attention between the different departments, and you know how to prioritize in such a way that all the areas get the attention they deserve and/or need.

You will report to the General Manager of the Nordic region and is part of the regional management team. You will be leading one HR employee who assists you in covering all HR activities for the departments in the Nordic region. Furthermore, you work closely with your different international HR colleagues, and you have a strong functional line to the HR Director Europe.

The position is based in Copenhagen, and you will expect 15-20 days of travelling per year.

Business driven HR profile

We are looking for an experienced and business driven HR professional with retail experience. Secondly, we would prefer a profile who have previous experience with Swedish and Danish labor market. You are used to be a good sparring partner for your organisation and you are good at stakeholder management. As part of the management team, you are able to translate important business objectives into HR tasks.

As a person you are flexible in a changing environment. Yet, you can stand up for the overall strategy and your principles. You are a person characterized with high integrity and thus you are seen as a trustful partner for your colleagues. You have a sense of detail and are able to create a structure enabling your colleagues to assist themselves in day-to-day HR questions.
