Management of Market Access Projects
As the new Nordic Market Access Manager your main task will be to manage market access projects according to company strategy and pipeline ensuring that all patients who may benefit get rapid and sustained access to Ipsen’s medicines.
In cooperation with the Market Access team, you will work with the development of reimbursement/HTA applications for new products or indication extensions in close collaboration with local and global functions (HEOR, Medical Affairs and Commercial) and local HTA vendors.
This includes that you with support from senior colleagues will have responsibility and lead processes in terms of managing communication and requests from all HTA agencies, from submission to end negotiations.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
- Creation of product value communication in line with the overall product strategies.
- Provision of market access expertise to support commercial strategies and campaigns and ensuring that market access requirements are embedded within the brand plan.
- Serving as a member of the cross-functional brand teams.
- Keeping yourself updated on the market access environment and on key trends in the Nordic countries, and their impact on Ipsen products.
- Develop relationships with key authoritative bodies to optimize chances of success in the above activities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of public relations and government affairs strategy as it pertains to the market access environment.
- Monitor local pricing issues, assess risks and opportunities and communicate to global & local stakeholders to develop appropriate plans.
- Handling price changes with Nordic pricing and reimbursement authorities.
- Maintenance of internal planning and price/reimbursement databases.
- Ethics & Compliance: Aid the team to ensure all materials such as reimbursement dossiers are developed, implemented, and effectively administered in line with Ipsen’s corporate guidance and all regulatory, legal, ethical SOPs.
You will join Ipsen’s Market Access Department for the Nordic region. The team consists of Market Access Managers and a Tender Manager. You will report to the Market Access Director, Peter Mathiesen.
The position as Nordic Market Access Manager also includes extensive cross-functional collaboration resulting in a broad knowledge of all various departments and products at Ipsen.
Market Access Manager with Nordic outlook
- Master’s degree in for instance Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Business & Administration.
- Experience in a similar role within Market Access in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Proven ability to manage processes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated resilience in handling challenging situations.
- Knowledge of the Nordic Healthcare systems, financing systems and HTA pathways/guidelines.
- Ability to understand and utilize scientific data for market access purposes.
- Experience in HEOR is considered a desirable requirement.
As a person, you are trustworthy, self-driven and focused. You have great interpersonal skills and a network within the field. The successful candidate will have a high level of integrity and professionalism and be able to handle high-pressure situations effectively and methodically. Furthermore, you are thorough and meticulous and can prioritize with support from your more experienced colleagues.
You are fluent in either Swedish or Danish and have a high level of verbal and written English. In general, you have good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
