Are you a motivated Quality Assurance Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment?
As the Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Boehringer Ingelheim’s products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality, you will have the opportunity to work with a small team of four employees consisting of two Quality Assistants, Head of Quality, and yourself. You have many interfaces with other departments both locally and on a global level, as well as exposure to both functional and cross-functional projects.
Drive quality to the next level and ensure exceptional product standards
As Quality Assurance Specialist, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the quality of both bulk and finished products, as well as to assist in periodic release activities. This will involve a range of specific tasks including but not limited to:
- Maintaining the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system and participating in HACCP meetings.
- Managing deviations and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Managing complaints and change controls.
- Supporting the qualification of raw material suppliers and toll manufacturers.
- Supports the qualification of equipment and validation of processes.
- Participate in audits and inspection of the production site.
Additionally, you will provide other quality assurance (QA) support and assistance, which may include training production staff.
Quality assurance specialist with industry experience and excellent communication skills
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences or a related field. You have at least 2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, preferably in the Feed/Food or Pharmaceutical industry and in a production/manufacturing environment.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be an independent and meticulous cross-functional team player. You should also have a flair for details and be capable of working with many assignments simultaneously without losing sight of the big picture.
It is expected that you will be present at the site in Kalundborg four days a week.
