In this exciting role you will take the lead on developing the current distributors, continue to build the distribution network, work with direct sales and establishing new markets. In the Regional Channel Manager position you will be responsible for driving sales of research reagents within North- and Latin America. As an integral member of the sales team, you will use your excellent track record in driving sales and solid collaborations. You will manage all aspects of the region and the day-to-day operations. You will have multifaceted responsibilities from distributor management to direct customer management to process optimization and competitive analysis.

You are preferably located in either the Stockholm region, connected to the Stockholm office, or in southern Sweden/Greater Copenhagen and based at the Lund office. Extensive travelling to America will be required in this position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales of Triple A Polyclonals, PrecisA Monoclonals, PrEST Antigens and QPrESTs.
  • Manage, develop, and work with all channel specific aspects for the respective region
  • Lead the regional distribution channel incl. identification, onboarding, and replacement of distributors
  • Lead, train and improve distributors and their performance
  • Drive recurrent improvements and growth opportunities
  • Open new territories either through distributors or direct sales setup
  • Manage the direct sales in the region as per the customer segmentation framework
  • Act as point of contact for all commercial matters within the region
  • Represent the region in internal business reviews (quarterly/annually) with top management
  • Responsible for driving commercial insights including weekly breakdown of sales on distributor/customer, product, segment level to inform decision making.
  • Close collaboration with marketing to continuously optimize our product offering. Align with marketing on the intelligence insights from customers/markets.
  • Supporting CCO on strategic planning including short- and long-term forecasting and resource support.
  • Ensure our distributors work in accordance with our policies and brand promise

 Qualifications:

  • +5 years of experience within international sales from the healthcare sector – ideally within research or diagnostics
  • Experience from working in North and/or Latin America
  • Specific skills: Analytical, commercially savvy, strong stakeholder management skills, people management skills
  • Personal characteristics and abilities: Team focused, driven and business minded
  • Certifications: Bio-medical degree i.e., at PhD level
  • Licenses: Business school license is a plus i.e., executive MBA
  • Physical abilities: Being able to travel internationally and frequently
  • Experience from managing distributors
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
