The Finance team

Finance is an essential team in CIP covering various task across the finance area like Fund Accounting and Controlling, Investment Controlling, Fund- and Investor Reporting, Investor Management & Treasury, Data and Analytics, which makes them a key player in the organization. The team consists of employees who are very committed and highly skilled, which makes it a strong and solid team. The Reporting Specialist position

Your role is centered around the CIP investment funds which comes with a high complexity. As Reporting Specialist, you will have the exciting opportunity to work together with highly competent and experienced professionals, while contributing to CIP’s successful fund management.

Overall, your primary role is to focus on the reporting part of the financial end-to-end process e.g. preparation of quarterly investor reporting including controlling and analysis for some of the CIP funds – primarily the investment funds. Furthermore, your role will require you to bring reporting and GAAP knowledge to projects across finance and the business.

Your primary tasks are:

  • Support all processes for quarterly and year-end financial management, and investor reporting and audit.
  • Assist in the development of presentation materials for investors and fund management.
  • Streamlining of financial processes within reporting in particular, as well as assisting in the automation of existing processes and the creation of new processes.
  • Providing support to local finance teams in various GAAP-related matters across investments and countries.
  • Assist in enhancing and implementing our financial reporting framework for new funds and assess new requirements from investors and regulators.
  • Assist in reporting-related workstreams in projects across the finance function and the organization.

You will work closely with other colleagues in the Investor Reporting team and together you will take ownership of the activities related to reporting to investors and fund management. The overall aim is to ensure that the financial reporting directed towards the investors are correct and accurate, hence creating the basis for the future investment decisions to ensure continuous growth. The candidate

We are looking for a candidate holding a relevant master’s degree preferably within audit – alternatively economy/finance. We imagine that you have minimum 2-4 years of experience from one of the major accounting firms and/or are in a similar position in a large company with a solid knowledge of accounting and reporting according to IFRS. You have an extensive toolbox, and you are an advanced user of both Excel and PowerPoint.  You will be working with several different projects where it is particularly important to be able to deliver quality and have a keen eye for the details – even when solving tasks under time pressure.
