In the role as Sales Director for Denmark, you will have the overall responsibility for sales within the region. A key part of the role is to develop and coach your employees for whom you have full staff responsibility. You lead the sales team, currently consisting of a double-digit number of employees, by proactively and systematically driving sales, communicating clear goals, following up sales against set goals and ensuring profitability and growth.

The tasks include creating a motivated and goal-driven sales organization, optimizing sales, profitability and budgeting, securing and implementing the company´s sales processes, and anchoring and enforcing centrally made decisions. The Sales Director reports to the Regional Director and is a part of the regional leadership team.

The profile

We are looking for a driven leader with a strong commercial focus that is motivated by good sales results and has a good business sense with the customer in focus. You are an ambassador and role model who always thinks, speaks and executes actions that increase sales and provide customer benefit. You are stimulated by a high tempo, can make decisions under pressure and have an interest in joining and developing a sales organization in a large global company.

As a leader, you are humble, confident and motivated by coaching and inspiring your employees to good results. Furthermore, you are a present, stable and confident person who is used to lead change and who can communicate a clear expectation and goal image. In order to succeed in the role you are result oriented, self-driven and structured.

Business development

You will develop important strategic and beneficial relationships between our client and their customers to maximize the current and future share of customers´ business. To enable this, you identify solutions and develop practices that add value to both the company and the customer.

Furthermore you will be accountable for customer plans, building and coordinating relationships on many levels between customers organization and the Regional Leadership team as well as other stakeholders within your own organization.

  • Create value propositions with clearly described benefits of the company´s solutions for customer’s needs
  • Responsible for evaluating any commercial or operational risks or customer complaints related to the account, raising and solving them together with the Leadership team
  • Drive and cultivate a proactive sales performance culture that is supported and encouraged by strong enablers.

Knowledge, experience and background

  • Relevant experience background within B2B and Complex selling process management.
  • Able to communicate features advantages, benefits and value to different customers’ needs and segments.
  • Commercial mindset and experience from project/process driven sales organization.
  • Understanding of digitalization and impact on business.
  • Mature leader, able to drive change and to create trust and a distinct sense of team spirit.
  • Business acumen, proven track record of strong business partnering; ability to provide actionable insights, influence decision-making and proactively drive business performance.
  • Excellent in building strong stakeholder networks, leading across borders and working in a matrix organization.
  • Helicopter perspective, ability to see the whole lifecycle (both internal and customer) and able to connect the dots.
  • Academic education.
  • Fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
