To strengthen the Recon Business Unit, they are looking for a Territory Manager.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving and maximizing sales of Smith & Nephew Recon products within an assigned territory through regular contact with the target customer base.

The position requires the ability to assimilate and deliver a high level of knowledge about products and to sell Smith & Nephew products and their advantages over the competition. The business is tender driven and pre tender activities, participation in tender submissions, implementation of won tenders with customer training, monitoring and evaluation/feedback form an important part of the role.

You will plan and execute activities aligned with the overall Company Strategy Plan defined by Marketing and as agreed with the Franchise Lead and team. This is a field-based sales position and you will spend most of your time with the customers including in the operating room selling value based solutions to surgeons. Traveling is expected. The position reports to the Franchise Leader.

Your Profile

You have a proven sales experience from the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry with good knowledge and understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the Swedish health care sector. Experience of account planning, budgeting and forecasting and from working with tenders.

You have strong business acumen and are able to read and interpret data. You cope well with changes in response to an ever changing business environment and have a strong customer focus. Good interpersonal and organizational skills are key and you are a strong communicator with presentation and training skills. You drive your own success and development through ongoing learning and a positive winning attitude, with the ability to challenge status quo.
