The team is known and acknowledged for its work with complex issues and providing constructive solutions. The global presence of CIP results in having a large interface throughout the organization, which makes the team capable of working cross functional globally.
Expansion of the Business Finance Team – 2 positions with a high complexity level
The primary role of Business Finance is to understand the Fund and investment structures and to ensure that the investment structures are managed in terms of cash-flow to/from funds and the underlying projects in a cross-border perspective. Hence, a responsibility for the structure, but also the implementation and operation of processes around the structures.
Both roles are centered around the activities related to the investments seen from the funds’ perspective:
- Controlling of investments in the funds and the quarterly closing process including cost controlling and cash-flow,
- Review and support regarding contribution/distribution packages (cash-flow),
- Support to the Deal Team in the closing process re. new investments, divestments, restructurings etc. in a fund structure and cash-flow perspective.
As Senior Business Controller you will be responsible for some of the funds and take the end-to-end ownership of the core processes in that respect. As Business Controller you will get your own responsibility for various tasks across all the funds, as well as support the Senior Business Controllers. As you develop within the role there is a career path to become Senior Business Controller.
Who are you?
We are looking for candidates holding a relevant master’s degree – preferable within accounting or finance. Candidates for both roles bring experience from one of the major accounting firms and/or from a similar position in an investment company or a large corporate. You are keen to use your skills and understanding of fundamental accounting principles (Årsregnskabsloven/IFRS) in a complex business area within a fund management company. For both roles it is beneficial (but not a requirement) that you bring insight to cash-flows across company structures as well as some insight to the tax perspectives in that perspective.
You will join an organization in growth and with huge ambitions, and you become part of an ambitious and highly professional finance team where you can contribute with your expertise, your analytical, pro-active and curious approach to ensure that you deliver high-quality deliverables.
