The Finance team

Finance is an essential team in CIP covering Fund Management & Reporting; Accounting, Processes & Reporting; Tax Reporting & Compliance and IT, which makes them a key player in the organization. The team consists of employees who are very committed and highly skilled, which makes it a strong and solid team. The team is known and acknowledged for their work with complex issues and providing constructive solutions. The global presence results in having a large interface throughout the organization, which makes them capable of working cross functional globally.

The Senior Fund Controller position

As a Senior Fund Controller, you will have the exciting opportunity to put your analytical skills into practice and work together with highly competent and experienced professionals, while contributing to CIP’s successful fund management.

You will work closely with two colleagues in the Fund Controlling team and together you will take ownership of the activities related to managing the funds and fund entities. You will focus on the controlling activities related to the funds’ reporting and financial performance e.g. controlling, analysis and deviations.

The overall aim is to ensure that the financial reporting directed the investors are correct and accurate. This includes ensuring that all costs are allocated/distributed correct according to the Limited Partnership Agreements/Fund Agreements etc. All in all, your role as Senior Fund Controller is to support the business and the management with value-adding reporting at fund level. The number of funds will increase and as new funds are established you will also take part in defining new processes for handling the new funds on the quarterly basis. In this role you will get a wide contact surface both internally and externally.

The candidate

We are looking for a candidate holding a relevant master’s degree within economy, finance and/or audit. We imagine that the candidate has minimum 4-6 years of experience from another fund manager or from a position in a company or consulting company with proven experience within accounting, controlling and reporting.

  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, changeable and fast-paced environment.
  • Thriving on taking responsibility and displaying high attention to details.
  • Advanced user of both PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while still being a team player.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both Danish and English.
