Mediq Denmark is currently looking for a strong quality and regulatory manager, who can lead the organisation in all decisions related to Quality and Regulatory affairs. As Senior Manager, QARA, you will be responsible for securing that Mediq’s processes are compliant to all standards and regulations, such as the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and GDPR as well as maintaining the Quality Management System to be ISO 9001 certified.

Utilize your quality and regulatory expertise to support Mediq’s growing business

As Senior Manager QARA, you will report to the Managing Director of Mediq Denmark. You will be the manager of one employee responsible for Facility Services and one Student Assistant. Mediq Denmark is one of the largest suppliers to the Danish Healthcare sector offering more than 15.000 products, primarily medical equipment . At Mediq, you will therefore become part of a dynamic organisation consisting of many different business segments with widely varying dynamics.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliant and agile processes that can support Mediq’s growing business. Through continuous improvement, you will update the Quality Management System and secure implementation in the organisation.

Furthermore, you will support Sourcing and Product Managers in selecting the best suppliers with the required regulatory setup and guide the organization in quality and regulatory doubts and decision making. You must stay updated on relevant rules and regulations and do quality reporting to management.

As Senior QARA Manager, it will be your responsibility to handle complaints from the market and to ensure manufacturers are informed within deadlines. Additionally, you will ensure Mediq’s GDPR compliance acting as Data security Officer and be responsible for selected work tasks related to CSR.

Strong quality and regulatory professional with good interpersonal skills

To succeed in this role, you must have minimum five years of hands-on experience in Regulatory Affairs or Quality Assurance from the Medical Device industry. You have knowledge of European regulations (MDR) and GDPR requirements. You have an interest in the commercial side of the business to ensure the QARA manager is a key business partner, and you can build and maintain good working relationships in a growing company.

You possess strong communication skills as you will interact with all functions across the business and other Mediq companies in Europe. The right candidate can drive the tasks and work independently but also act as a member of a project team. Fluency in Danish and English both written and verbal is a requirement.
