Key Account Solutions (KAS) unit is strengthening their sales team by hiring a
Solution Sales Manager
You will be consulting Wärtsilä´s customers in their energy efficiency, safety and environmental topics and solving the customers’ challenges by figuring out the best possible solution for them together with the KAS -team and the customers. You will analyse, assess and present the value of Wärtsilä´s solution to the customer. The solutions are tailormade solutions based on your and the team´s findings and suggestions.
Your task is to find new business opportunities within the existing customer base. The ambition is to become a trusted partner to the customers and be able to grow the business substantially on long term within your customer segment. You will participate in the contract negotiations and actively find solutions that meets the customer´s needs. The position is based in Helsinki, but you need to be able to travel, as the customers are spread out across Europe.
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have experience in tailored software projects, preferably from the consultation business. You are experienced in conducting business with C -level management, preferably in an international business environment. You are a problem solver with an entrepreneurial attitude and used to work in an agile way. You understand the importance of long-term business development and you have excellent influencer skills. We appreciate an Academic degree in Technology or Business and you have excellent skills in the English language. Other languages are seen as an advantage.
