Watson Marlow Fluid Technology Group offers an opportunity to join its growing internal sales support department in Norway. This role will involve partnering with customers, providing an array of technical and commercial product and applications expertise.

You have the technical ability to understand customer needs and can provide excellent technical support to both customers and sales engineers. With more than 15,000 products across 10 brands, you must know how to navigate in a complex environment.

You will manage the technical support in the progression of projects through quotation, preparation, purchasing and commissioning, whilst providing 1st line technical support to customers, engineers, and service. Watson Marlow works with a range of customers in both Norway and Denmark, hence fluency in both languages is preferred.

The position offers several exciting challenging tasks, including:

  • Liaise with Customers and Sales Engineers to produce a specification; interpret specifications and generate accurate costing for all products.
  • Provide detailed quotations both verbal and written for standard and engineered products in-line with KPI’s.
  • Take a project lead for assigned quotes ensuring that all information is completed and returned to the customer in a professional manner within the designated KPI.
  • Take a lead on Return Goods Authorization’s (RGA)
  • Create relevant and considered training plans to maintain product knowledge.
  • Process customer orders as per departmental procedures.
  • Create customer specific trade agreements in AX to ensure correct pricing.

Technical expertise and a chance to work in an international market leading and complex organisation

Ideally, you have a technical background as an engineer, mechanical technician or similar and several years of experience in technical sales support. You will work closely with customers in partnerships and internal Sales Engineers and provide excellent knowledge of Watson Marlow’s product portfolio. You will work closely with deadlines and must know how to structure and prioritise your projects.
