VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCIAL CONTROLLING, NORDICS, Espoo / Mariestad
Metsä Tissue is looking for a Vice President, Financial Controlling, Nordics to its head office in Espoo, Finland or to Mariestad, Sweden. In the position, you are part of Metsä Tissue Finance team and report to the VP, Group Controlling. You have overall responsibility of the financial controlling activities, financial management and governance of Metsä Tissue in Finland and Scandinavia. Your main tasks are financial reporting of the region legal entities, ensuring good corporate governance and compliance with local laws and regulations as well as Metsä Tissue and Metsä Group policies and guidelines. You will be proactively managing liquidity, working capital, and risks in the region. You will lead and participate in internal controls implementation and other development projects. You act as the main contact point to several external stakeholders such as auditors and tax and other authorities.
We expect you to have an academic education and at least 5-10 years of working and managerial experience in external and internal accounting and reporting in an international manufacturing environment. You have good understanding of IFRS and preferably also local accounting standards in Finland and Scandinavia. You also have experience with cash and working capital management. Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system is highly valued. You are fluent in English and also in Finnish or Swedish, preferably both, and able to travel regularly between Finland and Sweden. As a person you are an analytical, committed, and motivated team player with a willingness to take on new challenges in a dynamic working environment.
