Grundfos is undergoing a high-profile development to step change the quality standards of the electronics factory. We are looking for a Quality Manager who can be the driving force behind this transformation.
Grundfos’ production in Denmark consists of three plants that produce components for their pumps. With reference to the APU Manager (Autonomous Production Unit) for the electronics factory in Bjerringbro, you will be responsible for the performance of the APU’s quality department. Through leadership, daily coaching and lean tools, you take the lead in ensuring that the quality of the products and services are of the highest standard.
The electronics factory is – like Grundfos’ other plants – on a development journey where simplicity and speed are key words that are critical to excel to the next performance step. A critical focus area is to step change the quality. Many of the end customers are in the automotive industry and have strict quality requirements. As the Quality Manager, you will play a central role in designing and carrying out a plan and process that will secure continuous improvements – and not just quick fixes.
As quality assurance is an important focus area, you will interact with stakeholders throughout the organisation – both on the management level and production floor. Both speed and stability are needed as the goal is to step change significantly within just a few years.
Experienced manager with a high-quality toolbox
In this position, you will have direct report from eight employees working with quality assurance, quality control and lab. You thrive as the visible manager who both challenges and helps the employees in order to reach the ambitious goals of the department. You are able to adjust your management style to the task, and you involve, support and delegate assignments and responsibility to your employees.
You have experience from another electronics production company and a solid knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-J-STD-001D and IPC-A-610D) and ISO 9001. Moreover, you have documented experience with LEAN and change management. You hold a degree in electronics engineering or similar.
