Senior Property Claims Handler

Zurich Nordic have 190 employees and offers local and global insurance programs both standardized as well as individually tailored. Our customers are mainly international and large industrial companies. Our Nordic Claims department works with a wide range of claims within different Lines of Business for Customers in Nordic as well as in the rest of the world. We are now looking for an outgoing and positive person to join our Claims department as a Senior Property Claims Handler.

Zurich Nordic is a true cross border team and as a Senior Property Claims Handler you will independently handle all kind of claims across Nordic including large and complex claims. Your way of working is effective, proactive and efficient and you deliver excellent claims service supporting both the customer and Zurich. You communicate daily with different stakeholders such as customers, brokers, claimants, experts, underwriters and claim colleagues. You also gather relevant evidence and information to accurately assess the value of the claim and to recognise potential fraud/recovery indicators. The job includes regular contact with regional and global referral points.

The work location for this position is in Stockholm.

Qualification and experience:

·       Several years of experience of working within a technical Property claims environment, experience in other Lines of businesses is of course welcome

·       Excellent Technical knowledge along the claims handling core processes

·       Working with International Claims Handling

·       Relevant business/industry qualifications

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required, other Nordic languages a plus

·       Good communication and negotiation skills
