Chief Commercial Officer

Teton.ai is a fast-growing and well-funded healthcare startup, with a mission to introduce an intelligent assistant to healthcare professionals around the world. They are assembling an ambitious and hardworking team with one goal in mind – to empower Healthcare professionals and elevate patient care using cutting-edge deep learning and computer vision.
Teton.ai´s solution is already now live and currently monitoring 24 patient rooms at Nykøbing Falster hospital. Devices have been installed in all patient rooms in the stroke/geriatric ward of the hospital and valuable data and feedback is captured on a daily basis. Next step is to have test sites in US and Canada where close dialogues with prestige hospitals are well underway and expected to materialize in first half of 2022.
Teton.ai is therefore looking for a person that embodies the rare combination of true startup grit and Health care sales experience, and a person who will actually make a difference for the company and really kick start the commercial journey.
Founder mentality and commercial focus
You will be building crucial strategic components of the company’s future, such as go-to-market strategy, pricing, first-country expansion, and scaling plans. You will need to get your hands dirty – structuring deals with Teton.ai’s partner hospitals as well as establishing pilot customer programs around the world. You will alongside the rest of management be the commercial spearhead for the company. This means that you must gather your inner founder mentality and take the company on your shoulders.
Your tasks will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Scope, plan and lead the company’s commercial efforts
- Investigate and analyze the company’s pricing, go to market, marketing, reimbursement strategy
- Carry the daily torch for the commercial side of the company
- Reach out and form relationships with potential partners
- Select the Key Opinion Hospitals and drive the commercial path to success
- Setup the company’s pilot customer program and beyond
- Be the lead in formulating the commercial milestones for the company towards the next investment round
- Recruit and build the sales team – as and when the commercial drivers dictate it
Strong experience from International Healthcare sales
To succeed in this role, you have 8+ years of healthcare sector experience in executing sales, stakeholder management, and building strategic partnerships. You understand and are able to navigate the landscape of sales of medical equipment and services, commercial value propositions, in the complex Healthcare sector. You have experience from international business and understand how to drive both direct and indirect business. As a person you are driven and throw yourself into the task, knock on doors, and keep on pushing; knowing that sales to this segment require planning, preparation, and persistence. You naturally enjoy working in a startup company driven by a passion for improving healthcare of today which means that you have a high energy level and a will to succeed.
