Head of New Business
On behalf of our client, we are searching for a Head of New Business, to cover mainly Europe.
The company is experiencing an enormous interest from chains all over the world, as the need for efficient, digital communication channels for customers is huge. Since the establishment only a few years ago, the company has documented their competencies, making their growth-potential even greater. With the growth-potential and their ambition to create a global software company within the retail space, the company is looking to expand their client portfolio.
As Head of New Business, you will drive the sale of transformational loyalty and engagement projects to grocery retailers in Europe. You will explore new markets and business opportunities as well as proactively build trusted relationships with clients. You will own the sales process from lead to closing and work together with commercial and technical colleagues across the company to deliver the best possible solution.
Due to the uniqueness of the company´s platform, there has already been great interest among retailers, and the company has secured its first clients and are in dialogue with a line of grocery retailers within Europe. You will become key in contributing to the company’s global journey and helping the world’s largest retail companies choose their digital loyalty platform.
The specific work tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively identify and develop sales opportunities with new clients
- Own and drive sales process from lead to closing
- Build strategic partnerships with potential clients
- Build relationships with external stakeholders
- Define clear sales strategy with potential clients
- Execute commercial and technical workstreams
- Manage and update pipeline for sales forecast
- Gather feedback from prospects and share internally
You are a commercial profile with solid sales experience, preferably developing and driving sales activities to retailers on a international level working in an international setting with sales to different markets.
Knowledge of the European retail market is preferred, but it is not a need.
Experience with SW or SaaS solutions is a large advantage. Otherwise, a distinct technical interest is required.
