Fra og med 1. januar 2024 vil alle foretak med mer enn 100 millioner i drifts- og finansielle inntekter v\u00e6re p\u00e5lagt \u00e5 ha minimum 40 % av hvert kj\u00f8nn i sitt styre. Per dags dato er kun 20 % av styrerommene i det norske n\u00e6ringslivet kvinner. Det betyr at i f\u00f8rste omgang vil det v\u00e6re behov for 6\u00a0600 styrerekrutteringer fordelt p\u00e5 8\u00a0000 selskap. Mangfold i styrene har lenge v\u00e6rt et juridisk sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l, men hva er de faktiske effektene av \u00e5 ha flere kvinner rundt styrebordet? Vi redegj\u00f8r for noen positive effekter som kvinner kan tilf\u00f8re styrerommet.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&raquo;4.23.1&#8243; _module_preset=&raquo;default&raquo; global_colors_info=&raquo;{}&raquo; theme_builder_area=&raquo;post_content&raquo;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flere perspektiver er viktig for gode avgj\u00f8relser<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For det f\u00f8rste kan styrer dominert av menn f\u00f8re til gruppetenkning, som igjen resulterer i manglende mangfold i perspektiver. Status quo oppst\u00e5r typisk lettere n\u00e5r styrebordet er sammensatt av en homogen gruppe. Et styrerom uten variasjon i synspunkter og perspektiver vil uunng\u00e5elig ha uheldige konsekvenser, med f\u00e6rre diskusjoner som begrenses til ensidige synspunkter. Man kan sammenligne et styrerom med Stortinget hvor en rekke mennesker skal styre og bestemme over fremtiden til andre. Da er man avhengig av at flere stemmer og perspektiver blir vurdert.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4><strong><em>En stortingsdebatt uten ulike synspunkter ville ha uheldige konsekvenser. I<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong><em> styrerommet er man ogs\u00e5 avhengig av ulike stemmer<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Samfunnsansvar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kvinners interpersonale ferdigheter er grunnleggende i samfunnsansvarskontekst. If\u00f8lge Bear et. al (2010), har styrer med h\u00f8yere prosentandel kvinner en positiv relasjon med \u00f8kt (Corporate social responsibility, samfunnsansvar). Forfatterne spekulerer i at kvinner, av natur, viser mer milj\u00f8bevissthet (Gaio &amp; Goncalves, 2021), noe n\u00e6ringslivet \u00e5penbart drar nytte av. Forfatterne oppfordrer spesifikt selskap som opererer innenfor blant annet skog, metaller, kjemikalier og energi \u00e5 inkorporere flere kvinner i styrene.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kultur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>N\u00e5r det gjelder kultur og samspill, fremhever forskningen at tilstedev\u00e6relsen av kvinner i styrer ogs\u00e5 spiller en avgj\u00f8rende rolle i konfliktl\u00f8sning (Nielsen &amp; Huse, 2010). Normer, regler og prosesser utgj\u00f8r viktige elementer i organisasjonskulturen, og rekruttering av flere kvinner i styret kan ha positive effekter b\u00e5de internt i styret og for hele organisasjonen.<\/p>\n<p>Studier indikerer at kvinner er mer hensynsfulle mot andre og tar genuint ansvar for dem rundt seg. Dette er vesentlig for \u00e5 opprettholde en sunn kultur og ikke minst redusere kyniske beslutninger, som igjen reduserer konflikter. Ikke overraskende har konflikter i styrerommet en negativ innvirkning p\u00e5 strategier, noe som styrker argumentet for \u00e5 \u00f8ke kvinneandelen, da forskning underst\u00f8tter at kvinners deltakelse i styrer har en positiv sammenheng med virksomhetsstyring (Nielsen &amp; Huse, 2010).<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4><strong><em>Flere kvinner i styrerommet f\u00f8rer ikke bare til en jevnere kj\u00f8nnsbalanse \u2013 det<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong><em> f\u00f8rer til rikere perspektiver og grunnlag for \u00e5 vurdere avgj\u00f8relser og en<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong><em> b\u00e6rekraftig utvikling<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Virksomhetsstyring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aktiviteter relatert til utvikling er viktig for kontroll og virksomhetsstyring. If\u00f8lge Nielsen og Huse (2010), har kvinner ogs\u00e5 en positiv innvirkning p\u00e5 utvikling internt i styret. Videre har velfungerende styreutvikling igjen positiv effekt p\u00e5 strategisk og operasjonell styring. Det vil si at et velutviklet styre har bedre forutsetninger for \u00e5 kontrollere KPI-er knyttet til CSR, HR, kvalitet og milj\u00f8 (strategi), og ikke minst KPI-er knyttet til salg, investeringer og likviditet (operativ). Nye perspektiver, samspill og styring er kritiske faktorer for \u00e5 sikre at styrerommet tar kloke beslutninger, og kvinner i styret har en positiv relasjon til disse variablene. I fremtiden vil utvelgelsen av styremedlemmer ikke bare dreie seg om kompetanse og erfaring, men ogs\u00e5 om samspill, ulike perspektiver og kj\u00f8nnsbalanse.
