Sofie Michelle Berg Swainsbury

I work as a Recruitment Assistant in Compass Human Resources Norway, where I assist researchers in search for candidates.

I am currently a master’s student in Strategic HR at Høyskolen Kristiania (Kristiania College). I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from HINN at Lillehammer where my thesis focused on environmental and children’s psychology.

After my master’s degree I worked as a manager in a kindergarten for two years. This job led me to begin my master’s degree. My experience from managing was insightful and made me want to learn more about leading people and establishing a good working environment.

As I started my master’s degree, I have also become more interested in the organizations ability to grow and make profit. I find it interesting how we as HR employees can make a positive development for the organization by recruiting and using the employees in the right ways.
