Sonja Vainio

My name is Sonja Vainio and I work in Compass as a Senior Consultant. In my career I have worked in various positions from accounting to sales. Since 2008 I have worked in recruitment and HR field. So far I have recruited more than 450 candidates and it has been a pleasure to witness so many different career paths. I am always happy when a candidate finds an interesting new position and when I can help companies finding key talent.

I have bachelor’s degree in HR and management and I also have a degree in coaching. I have always been interested in what drives and motivates different individuals. I enjoy all kinds of discussions and learning new viewpoints.

In my free time you will find me in nature; bird watching, on picnics and biking either in Finland or travelling abroad. In winter I do cross-country skiing and yoga and of course I like to spend time with family and friends. Reading is also my  favourite pastime, I love going to libraries and bookstores,
