The position is newly established since LeMaitre is opening a sales office and warehouse in Switzerland in spring 2025. The position as Regional Sales Manager is critical and aligns with the company’s strategic goal of transitioning sales teams and opening direct sales in a new market. As Regional Sales Manager, you will play a central role in driving success in Switzerland, Austria, and beyond. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, maximizing revenue, and leading your sales and office team to success.

Clinical Expertise and Sales Excellency in your Region

As Regional Sales Manager you will spend more than 50% of your time on the road with your sales team, engaging directly with healthcare professionals, and representing LeMaitre at industry events and conferences. The remaining time you will be present at the Zurich office, as well as you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe in a virtual team environment. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive growth across Switzerland, Austria, and a new market (confidential). A key aspect of your role will be leading and mentoring the office and sales teams, fostering a culture of success, motivation, and accountability. You will oversee all sales operations, including setting targets, forecasting, and implementing processes to ensure efficient and effective execution. Additionally, you will engage directly with key clients, assisting sales representatives in maintaining strong relationships and negotiating deals.

You will play a vital role in analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth while addressing potential challenges. Moreover, you will serve as the liaison between the sales department and other business units, ensuring alignment across the organization.

Leading with Knowledge and Empathy

To succeed in this role, you come with considerable experience and expertise within the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, coupled with an in-depth understanding of clinical complexities. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, especially MDR, is crucial, alongside robust business acumen and proven leadership skills. You excel in fostering strong relationships and demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and dedication in your work, embodying a self-starting and loyal attitude. Since the Swiss and Austrian team will change their reference criteria and report directly to you, as well as a new country and team will be added to the region, adept change management and strong leadership skills are essential for ensuring a smooth adjustment process. LeMaitre is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who can effectively navigate this transition and lead the team through the changes ahead.
